Catherine Bell was born in London England on August 14, 1968. When she was two year sold she moved to the US with her mother. While Catherine originally planned on being a doctor, she ended up quitting school (UCLA) and took a four month modeling job in Japan. When she returned to the US, she didn’t go back to school but rather studied acting at the Beverley Hills Playhouse.

Catherine is best known for her roles as Sarah Mackenzie on the hit tv series JAG or as Denise Sherwood on Lifetime’s Army Wives.

Between seasons of Army Wives, Catherine starred in (and produced) several movies for Hallmark. The Good Witch turned into a multi-movie deal and was picked up as a series for 2015.
